“Little Stories, Big Echoes: Beads of Hope” festival updates!
Dawn and I are still enjoying the bliss from our double festival weekend last October. In Brooklyn, we attended the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Festival. Thank you to @reelsistersfilmfest for selecting Little Stories Big Echoes as part of this year’s official selection lineup, having us speak on the Masks & Mirrors panel, and for honoring us with Best Animated Short!

New Orleans – you made us proud! Thank you to @neworleansfilmsociety for selecting our pilot as part of the official lineup. We loved the opportunity to share alongside some incredible creators at the Katrina shorts panel, “Looking Back, Moving Forward.” This weekend was a true celebration of culture, storytelling, and community. We created this piece to speak to issues that matter, for our youth, our families, and our global community. To be seen and embraced in this way means everything.
We will be heading to Memphis in November for the “Like You Childrens Festival.” Passes and schedule are available at the Like You Children’s Festival site.
Watch this space early 2026 for additional updates.
Thank you all for being here and part of our beautiful community!
