Thankful.
We hear it a lot this time of year. The moment where we are asked to take pause, give thanks to others, to ourselves. The moment where we might receive thanks or gratitude from others. The moment we take to reflect on how to bring this gratitude into the new year.
Project Hope has been a continuing theme for me in 2025. Culminating Good Soil in the community, radical acts of optimism, the act of defiance in pursuing the telling of a new story, the courage to keep going. And while I have held this theme close to my heart, I know that it also takes the support from my mighty community to thrive.
Sharing my gratitude for…
Sinoun Chea and the ShiftWeb team – listening to my goals in creating a website for the company and executing with care and incredible expertise.
Erin Goodier – helping create our video partnership and opening up the world of opportunity with non-profits.
Andrea Bibbs of June Dragonfly – curating the absolute BEST client and partnership gifts.
Amy Birnbaum and Shawn Moore – building a PR kit with a redesigned logo as well as helping me craft my story for pitches.
Jess Lange – providing the marketing consult and push I needed as my business evolved.
Shannon McKnight – your marketing consults on numerous projects…and your friendship across this journey.
Qieer Wang of QIE Media – from your animation on one of my first Angelfish pieces to the projects we have in development…oh the fun we have!
Sara Hardy – my dear, dear friend who helps with the tech advice, the smallest (or biggest) ask and my new PR pictures. You are a lifesaver.
Gena Speakmon of GS Coaching – the coach, the friend, the push I needed to find what was already inside me.
Dawn Richard – Thank you for believing in me as a creative partner. As you said, ‘never a dull moment!’ Let’s keep this going!
There are so many more. Know that I am thankful to all of you that have helped build the foundation for Angelfish. We’re only getting started!
